Outside of the therapy room, you can find me hanging out with my cat, cozy up to a good book, or catching sunrises.

A quote that inspired me:

“What is most personal is most universal.”

Rachel Pham

Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver, BC

I’m Rachel, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) offering virtual counselling to individuals across British Columbia, including Vancouver and surrounding communities. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, one that honours your lived experiences, cultural context, and the unique ways you make sense of the world.

With years of experience in community work and healthcare settings, supporting diverse individuals and families, I bring both clinical skill and compassion to every session. My work is grounded in supporting people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, identity-related stress, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of family and systemic dynamics.

My approach is trauma-focused, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. I tailor therapy to each client, integrating evidence-based modalities while moving at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and sustainable.

My Story

My path into counselling was shaped by years of working alongside individuals and families in community and healthcare settings. In those spaces, I witnessed the quiet strength it takes to navigate trauma, cultural expectations, health challenges, and life transitions, often while carrying more than anyone should have to carry alone.

Being trusted with people’s stories deepened my belief in the importance of care that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. These experiences continue to guide how I show up in the therapy room: with curiosity, humility, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.

Today, my work is rooted in creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative,

where healing can unfold at a pace that feels right for you..
